Fatwa (Ruling) About the Definition of Al-Saabe'een In General In the Eyes of Those Who Associate Others [in Worship] with Allah

Al-Sabe' * Is He Who Has Become A Believer In Allah Alone And Has Disbelieved In Polytheism

Translator's note: Al-Sabe' is an Arabic word that refers to him who used to associate others with Allah in worship, then disbelieved in Polytheism and idolatry and believed in the oneness of Allah the Exalted

In the name of Allah the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. Prayers of (forgiveness) and peace be upon all of the prophets and messengers along with all of Al-Saabe'een in the eyes of [Al-Mushrikeen] those who associate others [in worship] with Allah

May Allah's peace, mercy, and blessings be upon you my sister in the religion of Allah, the respectable one, (Omm-Shomoukh). As for Al-Sabe' from the religion of his fathers and forefathers, Al-Mushrikoun (those who associate others with Allah) say that he has Saba' from the religion of his fathers and forefathers. This (Saba') is a word (Arabic) that they used to call on him who abandoned the religion of his fathers and forefathers, and submitted to Allah Lord of the worlds, and did righteousness. That is why Allah the Exalted said

And Al-Saabe'een those who believed in Allah and the Last Day and did righteousness - will have their reward with their Lord, and no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (62)

Al-Baqarah-Chapter:2 -Verse:62

Meaning that;
whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteousness is, in their eyes, a Sabe' from the religion of his fathers and forefathers. Given that the (Arabic) word Saba' used to be called on all the believers who abandoned the religion of their fathers and forefathers after it had been cleared to them that it is the truth from their Lord, hence people would say: "so-and-so has Saba' (has abandoned the religion of his fathers and forefathers and believed in Allah alone)".

May Allah be Pleased with you and may He Please you with His pleasure-Within if you want the truth and nothing but the truth. So reflect upon the clarifications in general until it becomes clear to you that they are the truth and guide to the straight path. I have briefly answered you and I have more (clarifications) by the permission of Allah the Almighty the Praiseworthy

Peace be upon the messengers and praise to Allah Lord of the worlds
